There Will Be Freedom
This post is a tribute to those who died in the long road for freedom. To those who wanted the dirt off. To those who sacrificed their lives for us. And last but not least, to those who still have their hands in cuffs.
We will remember you, now and forever.
I can see the day the pain’s gone away. There is shine in people’s eyes, smile on their faces. They now understand what a valuable piece of blessing Freedom is. They don’t take it for granted anymore. They know that they must work hard to keep it. I can see that day, I can feel it.
The last part goes to some very touching quotes from the movie “Valkyrie“.
1. Stauffenberg: Do you know how this war will end, Lieutenant?
The portrait will be unhung, and the man will be hung.
2. Henning: Well, we have to show the world, that not all of us were like him.
3. Ervin Von Witzleben: You may hand us over to the executioner, but in three months’ time, the disgusted and hurried people will bring you to book and drag you alive through the dirt in the streets.
You did not bear the shame, you resisted, sacrificing your life for freedom, justice and honor.
-From the German resistance memorial, Berlin

Hi again Hamed, hope you be okay…
I admire your being so optimistic, but I don’t think there will be freedom here, at least not anytime soon. Things are upside down in here, villagers rule and educated suffer. And when I look around myself realistically, I see more and more people who are affected by propoganda and indoctrination than people who think differently.
And those people who got their blood spilled, I can say they were just unlucky pawns of terrible political games. I just wish someone will prove me wrong.

Hi Dear Majid, So glad to hear from you again…
I agree with you mostly about the things and the situation going on here. It can not be denied, neither neglected.
But you know what, freedom has never been achieved in a short period of time in any story at history. Our road to freedom is no different. It will take time, patience and huge efforts, but eventually it will happen. That’s what matters in my opinion. We might not even get to see that in our life time, but it will happen. People will enjoy it and appreciate the feeling.
And about all these bloodshed, they are just a great boost and acceleration to movement. Yes, innocent people loose their lives, but that’s not in vain. What else could possibly help us better to get our voice heard around the world?
You might call it optimism but I believe every movement is like a child and it needs time to grow. There is no exception for this need. An incomplete and deviated movement would result in a shaky situation which could destroy all the good efforts. We have to accept, we won’t make it in a short period of time and we’d better not. I really hope so. But eventually we will. Look back in the history, it has always taken time and it will always do. So, it’s a good sign for us that it has already started. We just need to stick to the process…
